Horizons for Homeless Children

The Bumble Collection has recently partnered with Horizons for Homeless Children to raise awareness toward the epidemic of homeless children. Nationally approximately 500,000 children aged 0-5 years old experience homelessness in the course of a year.The mission of Horizons is to improve the lives of homeless children and their families, and is currently a leader in advocating for homeless children and their families at the local, state and federal levels.

Horizons provide homeless children in Massachusetts with the nurturing, stimulation and opportunities for early education and play that all children need to learn and grow in healthy ways. During this time, Horizon's teaches parents how to be involved in the growth and development of their children, and helps them with job training, GED and college courses to stabilize families and break the cycle of homelessness. They not only provide early education and care for these families but more importantly they teach parents the tools they need to achieve social and economic self-sufficiency.
 
Founder/Designer Jennie Lynn Johanson visited Horizons for Homeless Children earlier this year where she was given a tour of the facility and decided to create the Natalie Bag to help support Horizon's purpose.  The Natalie is the newest diaper bag from the Bumble Bags line and includes many features never before seen in the collection.
